Your first Saturday morning in April just got better and brighter with the Breakfast of Champions on April 6 - a series of short talks from college-bound cancers survivors, stories of resilience, the power of perseverance and community partner perspectives. Thriving through Adversity, Top 10 Lessons from 10 Years of Survivorship, Cancer to College Journey, Partner & Leadership Perspectives, and the National Impact of a Hometown Community are a few talks to look forward to. To kick things off we will make a Mimosa toast to celebrate our incredible community supporters who have helped us make over $300,000 in college scholarships a reality. We will feature 2 dynamic event emcees introducing speakers who will share lessons through survivorship and resilience, the families and community who supports them, and an amazing roster of community partners who are instrumental in helping make scholarship dreams come true. We will showcase the Sunny Side of the impact you have helped us create. Join us at South 40 located in Double Diamond for a hearty breakfast and a festive morning of connecting with other fellow supporters and beneficiaries of the My Hometown Heroes scholarship program. Learn our origin story, our milestones, and our vision for the future.
